Friday, May 8, marked the grand finale of Teacher Appreciation Week with one of the school’s most memorable spirit days yet. Students came dressed as teachers, complete with blazers, glasses, coffee cups and spot-on impressions, while teachers surprised students by dressing like them in hoodies, sneakers and backpacks.
The day was filled with laughter, creativity and plenty of double takes in the hallways. Beyond the fun, the activity highlighted the strong relationships between students and staff and offered a meaningful reminder of how much teachers influence and inspire their students each day. Swaps like these remind us that teaching and learning can go both ways.
From cozy cardigans and messy buns to exaggerated gestures and classroom catchphrases, the impersonations were both thoughtful and hilarious. The event brought the school community together in a fun and lighthearted way while celebrating the connections that make the school such a special place.
